Non-Helmet Traumatic Brain Injury Preventative Devices

Q-Collar

Description: A non-helmet, wearable medical device that prevents or reduces the risk of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) during potentially concussive events including impact, occupational exposures, and blast overpressure from artillery, missiles, weapon systems, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The effort is currently focused on the assessment and evaluation of the Q-Collar (Q30 Innovations, Inc.) for use in military operational and training environments.

Requirement: To prevent or reduce the risk of TBI during potentially concussive events in military operational and training environments.
