Medical Casualty Predictive Logistics User System (MCPLUS)

Capability Summary: Technology to capture, automate, and transfer medical logistic data with ease. Enables predictive logistics and intuitive patient triage through secure military networks and wireless technologies. Improves efficiency for inventory management to support effective patient care.

Impact: Provide integration of medical logistics, medical devices, and medical support systems with Department of Defense (DoD) tactical network architecture to provide Command and Control and Near-Real-Time medical logistics support. Provide situational awareness for medical logistics from POI to command-and-control systems over the tactical network.

Current Shortfalls of the Battlespace:

  • Lack of medical situational awareness.
  • Patient and logistics related communication risks.
  • Duplicative efforts due to manual documentation.

The MCPLUS Solution:

  • Automates documentation of patient-critical medical data and anticipates medical materiel usage based on real-time user data through the use of AI enabled cameras. The cameras have the ability to identify injuries on a patients and track treatments applied by caregivers. Providing efficient predictive logistics data collection.
  • Enhances a seamless continuum of health care through interoperable tactical DoD networks. MCPLUS contains the ability to transmit data across the battlefield in near-real-time.

Program Components:
