Warfighter Readiness, Performance, and Brain Health

Warfighter Brain Health

The Warfighter Readiness, Performance, and Brain Health Project Management Office (WRPBH PMO) leads the development and acquisition of products to meet the capability requirements of our Nation's Warfighters. In our Readiness and Performance portfolio, materiel solutions include those that mitigate risk and/or prevent injury, optimizing performance and increasing combat power. In the Brain Health portfolio, we develop materiel solutions that aid in the prevention, detection, management, and treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), psychological health conditions, and fatigue across all roles of care.

The WRPBH PMO is focused on delivering capability to our warfighters. We transition candidate products from academia, DoD Science and Technology, and industry that hold promise in meeting validated capability requirements. To succeed in our mission to develop and deliver, WRPBH utilizes the expertise of our acquisition personnel coupled with the diverse expertise of our joint stakeholders throughout the DoD. Throughout development, we focus on meeting the needs of our military end users and service capability developers. In this way, we ensure that the products we develop will meet the needs of our Service Members and ultimately demonstrate field suitability and sustainability throughout the program lifecycle.

WRPBH Mission: Accomplish program objectives for the development, production, and sustainment of medical capabilities that optimize Warfighter readiness and performance and aid in the prevention, detection, management, and treatment of neurotrauma, fatigue, and psychological health conditions.
