The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity is scheduled to host a Joint Multi-Channel Infusion Pump (JMCIP) Industry Day in Laurel, Maryland, 8 am to 4:30 pm, Aug. 28. Preregistration is open through Aug. 10 and is required for consideration to attend.
Preregistration does not guarantee approval to attend.
The event, in partnership with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, will be an opportunity for the joint medical community to communicate the general acquisition approach and broad technical requirements associated with development and eventual fielding of an estimated 16,000 JMCIP devices. Additionally, industry representatives will be able to share information about products relevant to multi-channel infusion pump development with services users and acquisition professionals.
To be considered for attendance, industry representatives must be affiliated with product development companies with products that are applicable to JMCIP objectives. In-development JMCIP products submitted for consideration to be featured during the Industry Day must meet both technical and regulatory maturity requirements for registration approval.
A maximum of three representatives per submission will be considered after preregistration.
During the event, program representatives will provide an update of the current JMCIP objectives and timelines. Approved industry representatives will have booth spaces for static product displays to meet and interface with Department of Defense and non-DoD industry leaders.
