Keeping USAMMDA a Respectful and Inclusive Workplace

By COL Ryan Bailey, published on 09/25/2018

At USAMMDA, we all have positive contributions to make. In the execution of our mission, our people are the fundamental backbone of all we accomplish. We are all diverse; we all have special talents; we all have valuable knowledge, and it's the combination of these talents, knowledge, skills and abilities in our collaboration on projects that allows us to carry out our work successfully each day. It takes all of our military, civilians and government contractors, working in their unique roles, to do this. And it doesn't matter, in the least, what race, color, religion, gender or national origin a person may be, as each one of us has positive contributions to make toward our mission – and this input is, and should always be, highly valued.

Keep in mind that throughout the Department of Defense, each category of employment has its unique path for career opportunities and advancement, and USAMMDA is 100 percent committed to supporting equal opportunity and diversity for everyone in the workplace. However, if you should ever have any questions, concerns or comments regarding the DOD's employment policies, please contact our human resources office. Contractors with questions regarding their respective company's policies should contact their internal point-of-contact to discuss these issues.

I'm very proud of the USAMMDA mission and the amazing work we do in support of our Warfighters. We have a great team – a great family – and our nation truly depends on the work we do here. Regardless of the individual's role in the larger picture, we ALL contribute to make the mission successful!

Always remember that we stand together here at USAMMDA!
