Mara Kreishman-Deitrick to Major

Mara Kreishman-Deitrick was sworn in as a Major in the U. S. Army by Col. Russell E. Coleman, commander of USAMMDA May 3.

Mara Kreishman-Deitrick was promoted from Captain to Major during a pinning ceremony May 3 at the Fort Detrick Neighborhood Center. She was pinned by her husband Erik and their son Markus.  Col. Coleman officiated the ceremony.  Maj. Kreishman-Deitrick’ official date of rank was May 1.  

Kreishman-Deitrick, a product manager, is assigned to the Pharmaceutical Systems Project Management Office at the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity, Fort Detrick. She was commissioned as a second lieutenant Jun. 1998 and has served six and a half years on Active Duty. 

Kreishman-Deitrick thanks her family, friends and colleagues saying “Each of you has contributed to my career in the Army and MRMC with your support, friendship, and mentorship, and I was truly honored to have you share this occasion with me.”
